Hypnotherapy Sessions

Before a session takes place, you will be advised fully of the scope of hypnotherapy and give your full consent to receiving hypnotherapy.   No session will commence without your express consent.  You are able to stop the session at any time should you wish to.  If, once a session has commenced, I don’t feel my services are right for you, I reserve the right to terminate the session.

Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for professional, medical care.  If you have been diagnosed or suspect you have a medical condition, you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment.  It is advisable to inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies or treatments.

I am unable to guarantee results as outcomes may vary.

Contraindications

For most people, hypnotherapy is a pleasant and extremely safe experience. However, there are occasions where hypnosis would be contraindicated.  If you have any medical conditions, please ask your doctor to give their approval before making a booking with me.

For some conditions, I will need written consent from your doctor.  Please let me know if you have any medical conditions before your appointment.

Your safety is my number one concern.

I cannot work with you if you have a diagnosis of:

  • Psychosis
  • Schizophrenia
  • Pathological Personality Disorder
  • Senility

Payment

Please make payment on the day of your appointment. Payment can be made by debit card at the clinic or bank transfer.

No refunds will be given except in a situation where I have decided to terminate the session because I do not believe my services to be suitable for you.

Confidentiality

All therapy sessions are completely confidential unless I consider that you could be a danger to yourself or to others – in which case disclosures will be kept to the bare minimum necessary for your protection and the protection any third party.

I may share details of your sessions with my supervisors, but your name and personal data will not be used.

I will keep short notes from our sessions. These will be kept secure and protected at all times.  Copies of any notes will be retained by me and are available to you upon reasonable notice.  Full details of my privacy policy and details of how personal data is collected and processed can be found here: https://jojohypno.co.uk/data-protection-and-privacy/

COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS – For in person appointments

Please only attend an in person appointment if you have no known symptoms of the covid-19 virus and have had none for the 10 days prior to the appointment.  Please do not attend if you have been told to self-isolate.

If you are considered ‘vulnerable’ to the covid-19 virus – please book an online session instead.

Please wash/sanitise your hands upon arrival and upon leaving the clinic.

Drinks will not be provided, however you are very welcome to bring your own.

Please be mindful to keep your distance from any other people you may encounter at the clinic.

All measures will be taken to ensure a reasonable distance is maintained between us during your session.

By accepting these terms and conditions you are confirming that you are aware that online sessions are available but have specifically chosen an in-person appointment.

Should I (Joline Saunders) test positive for covid-19 in the future, it may be necessary to pass on your contact details to the NHS track and trace service as required by the UK government.

Well done for reading this far!

I very much look forward to working with you to help you overcome your issue.

See you soon.
